Glenbrae Hay’s Success with the Arcusin XP54

In the fast-paced world of hay contracting, efficiency, precision and time management are crucial to maintaining a competitive edge.  Glenbrae Hay, a well-respected name in the hay production and contracting business based in Wikepin WA, has embraced technology to streamline its operations, reduce costs, and increase productivity.   One such technological advancement they’ve incorporated into their day-to-day operations is the Arcusin XP54—a cutting-edge bale accumulator that has dramatically transformed their processes.

For over two decades, Glenbrae Hay has provided contracting services to a range of clients, from farmers in need of hay handling to larger-scale agricultural businesses.  The team initially relied on traditional methods of handling bales, which often involved manual labour and slower processes.  As the demand for high-quality hay increased and the industry evolved, Glenbrae Hay recognised the need for innovation to keep up with changing market dynamics.

Enter the Arcusin XP54, a machine that has quickly become a game-changer for the business.   The XP54 is known for its ability to quickly and efficiently collect, stack, and transport hay bales—reducing labour time while improving overall operational efficiency.

Clint Noakes from Glenbrae Hay purchased the machine in 2020 and has said it is one of the most important parts of their CTF operation now, allowing them to reduce the need for tele handlers and staff;

“We’d seen the Arcusin XP54 in action through one of our sub-contractors, and thought it looked really good so decided to purchase one after that.  One of the best features for us is that the bottom of the bale when it comes out, ends up on top of the stack.  This inverting leads to the hardest pressed side of the hay being exposed to the weather and it handles it much better”.

Clint estimates he has stacked 250,000 bales so far with his current XP54, and now has plans to buy another early next year.
